well if you can make a trip over to Midway and wont mind driving 30 minutes to get to Miami from Ft. Lauderdale you can get cheap tickets with southwest airlines. i found some tickets for $84 eachway for the week of 5/5- 5/12...

In addition to Southwest Airlines, Airtran also offers low-cost service between Chicago Midway and both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, via a connection at Atlanta.
