How long to disembark from Carnival Miami cruise?
I am considering a Carnival cruise next September, and was wondering if it's possible to disembark at 8am and make a 11:45am flight from Miami international. Thanks!!!

You probably will miss your flight. Have you ever been on a Carnival Cruise? I went once and we were treated like cattle! Ugh!!

As long as the ship is back in port and unloading at 8am, it should be possible. Cruise lines usually ask you about your post-cruise travel plans, so that people with early flights can disembark first.

you'll be close -- if the Coast Guard inspects real fast you have a chance. Have a back up plan.

Odds are for a noon flight you will be OK. But you are not leaving any room for any delays - security at airport, customs, traffic, etc. You can increase your odds by using Self Assist. Which means if you can carry ALL your luggage ashore you can be in the first group to disembark. If you choose not to do this, on one of the last nights they will also ask you about your flight times so they can put you in the appropriate group so you can make your flight. You can always take a late flight and do an excursion in Miami as well before your flight. Have fun on your cruise. Dave
