What is the latest Arrival time to Miami to catch Miami Cruise departure at 4pm

What is the latest Arrival time to Miami to catch Miami Cruise departure at 4pm?
What is the latest time I can arrive at Miami airport to catch the 4pm Cruise Departure at Miami port? If my Cruise departs at 4pm, can I make it on a 3pm flight arrival at Miami airport? I have to consider the Taxi ride as well (10mins)? Please advise Thanks! Frank

Most cruises cut off boarding ½ to 1 hour before departure. I would never take a chance cutting it that close. Planes can be late or canceled. I always arrive the previous day and stay overnight. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪

No, I believe that you have to be there by 2;30 so they have time to get ready to sail.

You CANNOT board a ship that late! They are required to forward the passenger manifest long before you could get to the dock, even if your plane landed on time and you got the fastest taxicab in Florida. The only way such a late-arrival passenger would be allowed to board is when the passenger is on a flight booked by the cruise company and the flight is late! In those cases, ships will delay departure. And cruise companies NEVER book any flight for arrival that might reasonably be expected to make the ship have to delay departure! I have personally seen ships delay departure for passengers who are delayed getting to the dock, but only when the passengers are delayed on flights booked by the cruise company -- one lady from California was on a flight into New York that arrived very late due to weather delays, and Cunard had booked her flight, so they literally held the QE2 for TWO HOURS to get her off the flight and to the ship for a World Cruise. This spring, Costa held my ship for almost 3 hours waiting for passengers whose flights had been booked by Costa. However, those are the only circumstances when a passenger can board a ship so late. Several years ago my brother sailed with Cunard from New York to Southampton for a month of study at Oxford, and heard a hair-raising story of financial horrors from a lady in the same class: she had decided to save the extra money and book her own flight to New York, but it ran late, and as the plane turned for landing she saw the QE2 sailing out of the harbor! She lost 100% of the money she had paid for the crossing, had to buy a ticket to fly herself over to London (with no early-booking price break -- she paid full), and then pay for a week of hotel/food/etc. before the course began at Oxford. She saved about $200 by booking her own flight, and lost thousands. The long and the short of it is that you need to pay the extra to have the cruise line book your flight, or book it yourself and arrive very early in the day or the night before sailing.

No way, friend. You have to take into consideration waiting on getting your bags, a taxi queue line, possible traffic complications. And you have to be on board an hour before departure anyway. I would not want to land later than noon, honestly.

You must be checked in 90 min before sailing time. so you would have to be there by 230

That flight arrival isn't going to work for you. Even if everything goes perfectly and your flight is on time and there's no traffic to the port, you're supposed to be on board, I think, 90 minutes before departure. I'd never chance an arrival that late. Of course, I always go to the departure port the day before, so....
