I have a us border visa i'm from mexico do i need a permit if i'm staying 5 hrs at the Miami Airport?
i am from mexico and live at the border so my visa only allows me to travel along the border without a permit, i am flying from brasil to mexico and have a connecting flight in Miami i was wondering if I need to ask for a permit or my visa will keep me safe while I wait for my flight to mexico.

Technically, the international terminal of an airport is a "port" and thus you do not need a visa to be in the terminal. You may not leave the terminal however.

No le hace. Your lazer visa can be used for your trip. Holders of the combination B1/B2/BCC visas will be permitted to enter with a valid passport, if they are entering as visitors for pleasure or business. The card is both a Border Crossing Card and a B1/B2 visitor's visa. Most Mexican visitors to the U.S., whether traveling to the border region or beyond, receive a laser visa. If you have a valid laser visa and a valid passport, you will be able to satisfy the requirements to enter the U.S. at Miami in transit to Mexico as a visitor. No te preocupes. Ya tienes lo que necisitas. Te van a dar un permiso en Miami.
