Call AA at 1-800-433-7300 (talk to a human) to ask about your missing luggage. You can also ask about compensation, but you may be better off writing to them by mail, FAX, or both. "Real" letters tend to be taken more seriously than phone calls or e-mail messages.. U.S. Mail (best sent "certified, return receipt") American Airlines Customer Relations P.O. Box 619612 MD 2400 DFW Airport, TX 75261-9612 Overnight Mail (UPS, FedEx, etc) American Airlines Customer Relations 4255 Amon Carter Blvd. MD 2400 Fort Worth, TX 76155-2603 Fax: (817) 967-4162 Good luck!

Your best bet is to use the systems that American has in place for contacting customer service. I've used these contacts before, they will get back to you. The web page below has links... Send emails, fax, write letters, and call. I recommend all four--you might get different results from one or another. I also recommend that you be polite but also let them know your frustration.

Um... you do realize that because of the storm, they do NOT have to compensate you for those tickets, right? You can either cancel your itinerary, or choose another date. Weather is outside any airline's control. The luggage, however, should have been dealt with at the airport before you left. Hopefully you filed a claim. Honestly, I personally think you're owed a few hundred dollars for the luggage (if you filed a claim), and nothing for the airline tickets. Have fun filing your complaint.
